4g service in Los angeles?

I have the new htc evo 4g and I have installed an application called MAP VIEWER. This application maps all 4g, 3g, 2g, CDM, GSM, AND WiFi coverage. I work in downtown Los Angeles and I turned my 4g feature on my EVO from sprint and I was surfing the internet faster than my dsl at home. I also use www.mobilespeedtest.com/test/finish.php to check my mobile internet speed. I was getting readings of 3958.18 kbps. although 4g is not officially here in Los Angeles. There are leaks from Beverly Hills to east LA. Amazing. Have you experienced it yet?

It’s awesome you’re having such a great experience, but I can’t say that I had it yet. I’m surprised you can get good service in BH, though I know Sprint has better coverage there. I actually found your question while searching for help to determine what, if anything, I can do to make my iPhone (3GS) actually work in Beverly Hills without having to practically hang upside down and wave my arm around to get a signal. AT&T has miserable reception here, unfortunately.
